Terms and Conditions

Payment must be made via cash or bank transfer within 7 days of invoice. 

All new dogs will be on a trial period for two weeks to assess their training and requirements. 

Paws for Thought has the right to shorten a walk if the weather conditions are unsafe e.g extreme heat and thunderstorms. 

Dogs may require to be towelled down after a walk and owners should provide towels. 

All dogs walked with Paws for Thought must be microchipped and have a collar with an ID tag providing owners details. 

Paws for Thought keeps customer keys locked away securely and are stored separately from customer details. 

Cancellation Policy

Dog Walking
You may cancel your booked slot and provided you give a minimum of 24-hours notice, you will not be charged. However, if cancellaton is made within 24-hours of the walk commencing, the full rate will be charged.

Indemnification

The Owner will not blame and payback the Walker against any and all costs, expenses, losses, liabilities and claims arising from said dogs behaviour unless the dog walker is willful or negligent.

Emergencies

In the event of an emergency, the Walker shall contact the Owner at the numbers provided to confirm the Owner's choice of action. If the Owner cannot be reached timeously, the Walker is authorized to: Transport the dog(s) to the listed veterinarian; Request on-site treatment from a veterinarian; Transport the dog(s) to an emergency clinic if the previous two options are not feasible.
